Welcome to this edition of Sweet Tooth Saturdays! I found the following recipe in my VegNews newsletter for vegan brownies. I made them the other night and they came out good! If you decide to make these, be aware that they are gooey and grease your pan quite a bit because they did stick a little bit.

Vegan Brownies

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

1 cup organic sugar
1 cup organic unbleached flour
1 tablespoon ground flax seed
1/4 cup canola oil
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt


Mix wet ingredients, then dump in all the dry...don't over mix...

Bake at 350' for about 20-25 minutes.

Serves: 12-16
