SWEET TOOTH SATURDAYS- APPLE SALAD

Hey folks,

Welcome to Sweet Tooth Saturday!  I hope your weekend is off to a great start!  Today's sweet offering comes from vegweb.com.  A nice and healthy fruit salad to satisfy that sweet tooth!

APPLE SALAD


INGREDIENTS (use vegan versions):

2 apples

1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds (no salt)

1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

2/3 cup raisins

3 tablespoons soy yogurt, plain

1 tablespoon flaxseed Oil


DIRECTIONS:

Core and cube the apples. Put everything into a bowl and stir.  The amounts are approximate as I throw it all together. This recipe is very versatile. Quick, easy and raw... mmmm.... Use any dried fruits and nuts that you enjoy. Tasty as a side, dessert or breakfast!!


This sounds sweet and simple..just the way I like it sometimes!
