Happy Physical Fitness Friday!

Let's go skiing!!  This is another great activity for the colder months.  This is one thing I have not done, but it is on my list of things to do next year!  Like ice skating that I mentioned in a previous post, this is another activity you can do with friends where you may not even realize you are even exercising!  Skiing provides wonderful cardiovascular benefits as well as increased alertness!  I have been told it can be very daunting at first and the less adventurous types may not take to it as readily, but it's always good to take a risk once in a while right?! 

I also read that skiing helps to increase your confidence and self-esteem.  Additionally, most people tend to think of skiing as an entirely downhill experience, but there are many uphill slopes that will surely get that heart pumping!!  I think these are definitely good reasons to hit the slopes, don't you?!
