Hey folks,

Happy Physical Fitness Friday to you!  I hope your week was great and are ready for the weekend!  One thing I have noticed is how different my workout is if I'm outside vs. inside.  It seems like exercising outside is a lot more challenging for me, but in a good way.  I've mentioned before that I'm not much of a runner, but times that I have, it's always much easier for me to go longer when I'm on the treadmill.  I found an interesting article that discusses the differences between running outdoors and running on the treadmill.

Check it out!

But just remember, whether you're in or out, exercising provides a great benefit to our bodies at all times!

  1. The main difference between outside running and treadmill running may be is that, when we go out for a walk or a jog, we get some fresh air, that too early morning walks can be very pleasing for the mind and body. The air is pure and full of oxygen, mind also feel relaxed, which is not possible by running in a treadmill inside four walls.
But in winter, however going out for a jog may not be possible because of the extreme fog and snow, may be in those days treadmills can be used.

  2. Thank you so much for this comment! You are so right on all points, thanks for reading!
