Hey folks,

Welcome to this edition of The Truth According To..Thursdays!  The last truth of the year comes from yours truly!  First I want to acknowledge and thank all of the wonderful people that agreed to be interviewed this year on this blog for The Truth According To.. Thursdays.  I really appreciate them taking the time out of their busy schedules to answer all of my questions, they are all so great and shared their wonderful insights and experiences!  Great big hugs to each of you! :-)

Now, on to today's truth.  I really shouldn't do this because I haven't read the entire book, but I feel confident enough in what I've read so far to go out on a limb with this one.  Not too long ago, I posted a youtube video from Rory Freedman giving five reasons to go vegan.  Well, I FINALLY picked up her book co-written by Kim Barnouin "Skinny Bitch" today and just started reading it about ten minutes or so ago and I'm already on page 35.  I know some may be offended by the title, and if that is you, you will be more so offended by how it's written as well.  The title certainly reflects the tone of the contents, but in a good way I think.  I'm not one to use profanity in my everyday life, but I find the tone of the book to be quite hilarious and extremely in your face which I happen to like and feel that most people need when trying to make a lifestyle switch as it pertains to eating.  There are certain people I would DEFINITELY recommend this book to because of its bold and brass nature and tone.  I also think so far that the information is very on point and actually has me already re-thinking and checking myself on some things as well.

So, if you are really seeking a change in 2011 and need tough love and hard facts to help you do it, from what I have gathered so far, this is the book for you!  If you are more the type to need information presented softly and in a pretty package, you may not be able to hang with this one.  However, I recommend you to put your thin skin to the test and brave through it anyway- it would be well worth it I think! More on this when I'm done with the book (which at this rate will be in a few days)!  My last truth of 2010..on to the next...I can't wait!
