SWEET TOOTH SATURDAYS- A SWEET SMOOTHIE RECIPE

Hey folks,

Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a great NYE! JJ and I ventured out, but ended up having a change of plans and decided to ring in 2011 at the house and it was just as nice, I was actually more pleased to be inside! 

Now on to the first sweet offering of the new year!  There is a smoothie that I used to get all the time from Smoothie King that I loved called PB&J I believe.  I ended up recreating my own version at home and it's just as delicious! 

CHRISTA'S PB&J SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS

8 ounces of Vanilla Almond Milk
2 tsp of protein powder ( I use a vegan soy free brand)-optional
1 banana
2 tsp all natural peanut butter
1/3 cup frozen strawberries (approx)

DIRECTIONS

Put all the ingredients in a blender (as mentioned above, the protein powder is optional) and blend until smooth! That's it! Quick, easy, sweet, creamy and delicious!!
