Hey folks,

Welcome to this edition of Whatever Wednesdays!  I have been researching and experimenting with new salad and smoothie ideas for the last few days and have tried two to share with you!  One is a smoothie and the other is a simple way to dress your salad!


1 cup of blueberries
2 bananas (I like my smoothies thick)
1/2 mango
1 cup of spinach
8 oz of water

It is deelish! You can adjust the amounts or eyeball as you see fit to your liking!


A dash of garlic powder
A dash of sea salt
A dash of black pepper
Fresh squeezed lemon juice
A few spritz's of Bragg's Liquid Aminos- click here if you're unfamiliar with this ingredient

That's it!  In an effort to stay away from bottled salad dressing, I threw all of the above together on my salad on Saturday and it was perfect!  Now the sea salt and Bragg's may be a bit much for some (because bragg's has a bit of a salty bite) but I like my toppings with a kick.  I'm sure as I get used to not having bottled dressing, I may even cut back and just do the lemon juice, pepper and Bragg's only to leave my salad even more naked..baby steps right? :-)
