SWEET TOOTH SATURDAYS- VEGAN RICE KRISPIE TREATS

Hey everyone,

Welcome to Sweet Tooth Saturday!  The following is a classic and reminds me of when I was younger, I used to love these!  The following vegan version from vegweb makes having these possible again! 

RICE KRISPIE TREATS


INGREDIENTS (use vegan versions):
1 (10-ounce) bag Dandies Vegan Marshmallows

2 tablespoons vegan margarine (I use Earth Balance Buttery Spread)

4 cups puffed rice cereal (Erewhon Crispy Brown Rice Cereal is vegan and crispy)
DIRECTIONS:

In a large pot over medium heat, combine marshmallows and margarine; melt, stirring occasionally.

Add cereal; immediately stir together until thoroughly mixed, then remove from heat.

Spread mixture in a 13" x 9" pan; spread out evenly.
