BLENDED FRUIT SORBET

Hey folks,

I have been craving ice cream for the past couple of days and came across the following recipe on vegweb posted by VegAnna for blended fruit sorbet.  It sounds so creamy and refreshing, this could certainly be a go-to recipe when the summer temperatures rise!  Check it out!

QUICK BLENDER FRUIT SORBET
INGREDIENTS (use vegan versions):

frozen unsweetened raspberries

frozen unsweetened cherries

frozen unsweetened mango chunks

frozen unsweetened strawberries

frozen *banana chunks

dash of soy milk (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

*If you use banana, peel banana, break into chunks and freeze for at least two hours.

Put any or all of the above in a blender or food processor. If it's too solid to blend, add either soymilk, juice, or a store bought vegan fruit smoothie.

I've never tried it but I'm sure you could also freeze peach, papaya, and a whole lot of other fruit.

My favorite is to simply blend frozen mango with a couple of tablespoons soymilk.

This melts quickly but it's so delicious it won't last long anyway.
