ANOTHER TWIST ON SALSA

Hey folks!

There are so many variations of salsa out there, but the following recipe delivered in my inbox from VegNews is one I personally haven't seen before- plum salsa!  I happen to be a huge fan of plums so this combination sounds great to me! Check it out!

PLUM SALSA

INGREDIENTS:

4 cups chopped fresh plums

1 papaya, peeled and diced

1 bunch green onions, chopped

5 to 10 tomatillos, diced

1/2 cup chopped cilantro

1/4 cup chopped parsley

1 jalapeño, finely chopped

2 tablespoons brown sugar

3 tablespoons white wine vinegar

DIRECTIONS:
In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients and mix to combine. Chill for 15 minutes before serving. Serve with crackers, chips, or flatbread.
