Staying on Track!


Happy Friday to ya!  Well, the weekend is upon us and we will be setting the clocks forward to enjoy some more daylight!  This is the best time of year to take advantage of outdoor workouts (weather permitting of course) since you have more time to get it moving outside before dark.  I plan to take full advantage of this fact since there will be more time in the day for me to get in one of my favorite workouts which is hiking at Griffith Park here in Los Angeles!



Anyhoo, the message of today though is to stay on track as you head into the weekend.  I know it's so easy for us to get lax on food and fitness when the weekend calls, but if you make it a point to be on point during the week, don't undo what you did ya dig?  LOL!  Seriously though, don't let all of your hard work and discipline go out the window on Saturday and Sunday.  Being fit is a 24 hour 7 day a week gig, so don't allow yourself to become complacent.  The weekend is a great time to get together with your friends for a fun group workout or you can even go dancing Friday or Saturday night and burn some major calories without even realizing it!  I find those to be the best typ of workouts- wouldn't you agree?
