Some Simple Salad Ideas!
In honor of Earth Day, I thought I would share some simple salad ideas I found for you to conserve energy by whipping one of these up today! I had the most delicious salad prepared by my boy Chef Ayinde Howell of I Eat Grass over the weekend during our meeting (pictured) and that was another inspiration for today's post.
Food.com has a plethora of salad ideas that you can get a gander at here. I've been itching to try a black bean quinoa salad recipe and there is one featured that I'm going to have to make time to try! One of the things I loved about Ayinde's salad was the dressing and he is giving us the goods so we can make some of our own! Check it out!
AYINDE'S SALAD DRESSING
1 tbsp lime
2 tbsp orange juice
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp fresh sage
1 tsp fresh basil
Now how easy is that! All you have to do now is make a salad!
